(CNN) a student was detained on Friday after a shootings in Noble swell, Indiana and a middle school, causing three people to be injured.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s office told a news conference Friday night that a female student from norweisville middle school was in a critical condition, and a male teacher was in good health. However, hospital officials say at least three people, including one adult, are receiving treatment. A student has a fracture of the ankle.

Republican U.S. Rep. Susan Brooks posted a video on Twitter saying she met Jason Seaman during a visit to Noblesville West Middle School.
“He is that hero teacher who stopped the shooter from hurting more young people,” Brooks said.
The only other person shot, student Ella Whistler, was in critical but stable condition, according to her family. They released a statement saying they were still trying to process “what happened and why.”
A student asked for permission to leave the classroom and “he returned armed with two handguns,” Jowitt said at an afternoon news conference. The situation was quickly resolved, and the student was arrested in or near the classroom, police public information officer Lt. Bruce Barnes said.
Teacher credited with disarming student in middle school shooting
Authorities did not release the name of the suspect or the wounded student. The teacher was identified as Jason Seaman, 29, according to his aunt, Brenda Hubly-Sushka.
